Our Birth Doulas Provide Support in Pregnancy, Childbirth, & Postpartum

Dallas, Fort Worth & Surrounding Areas

What is a Birth Doula?

The primary role of our Birth Doulas is to help you achieve the birth experience you desire through intentional support. We are trained professionals who value all types of births and are equipped to meet you right where you are. Whether you are a first-time mama desiring a natural birth, a mama who is pregnant after a season of infertility, a mama of multiples, a mama going for her VBAC, a mama with a planned Cesarean birth, or a surrogate mama, our services were built with you in mind. We are there for YOU, Mama. Our Birth Doulas work closely with the partner and birth team to give the mama the best support possible. We do not offer medical care or make medical decisions for you. Research shoes that doula attended births lead to:

  • Shorter time in labor

  • Reduced need for pain-relief medication during labor

  • Fewer cesarean sections

  • Fewer negative childbirth experiences

  • Better communication between pregnant people and their health care providers

Meet the Team

Cristina Pilcher

I’m Cristina. I wear many hats as a certified newborn care specialist, pediatric sleep consultant, placenta encapsulation specialist, doula, and best of them all, mom to 2 under 3. It is my absolute joy to care for growing families.

There’s no work more rewarding than caring for precious little ones while supporting and empowering parents on this journey. It is my hope that by providing a high quality level of care, I might make a difference in decreasing the maternal mortality rate, improving the statistics on the BIPOC maternal mortality rate, and helping parents who are suffering from perinatal mood and anxiety disorders to heal.

I am a total foodie, happy home cook, and a tea fanatic. Cooking for others is definitely one of my love languages. I’m always looking forward to serving families with a positive energy, promoting harmony in the home and leaving a meaningful and lasting impact.

Annie WEBB

I’m Annie Webb, a follower of Jesus, wife to Matthew and mama to Shepherd, among many other things. I started serving as a doula to come alongside families as they prepare for, welcome, and bring home new babies! For some this may be through pregnancy and birth, and others through patient expectation and signed papers. The first couple weeks with a new baby are sweet, magical AND a huge shift in the daily life of a family as they welcome one (or many!) cute, tiny, and entirely dependent babe(s).

As a certified BEST Birth and Postpartum Doula, I want to be a part of it all. I come in and relieve some of the burden of this new season by offering educated support, encouraging new parents to rest, and providing yummy nourishment (HELLO chocolate chip cookies + warm bread.) Would love to hear from you!

Afenity nelson

I’m Afenity, a Christian birth and postpartum doula, wife, and mother of four. Following my own difficult pregnancy and postpartum period, I realized the dire importance of support during such a particular journey. As my knowledge of pregnancy and postpartum grew so did my passion. I officially began work as a birth and postpartum doula in 2020. I’ve been honored to support clients desiring to have various types of births including but not limited to natural vaginal, induction, c-section, hospitals, home birth, and birthing center. I also delight in helping new or growing families navigate through their postpartum period.I have a well rounded knowledge of pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, postpartum and parenting. My goal is to provide resources, educate, empower, and support families to have a positive and faith-filled childbirth and child rearing experience.
